Our guest speaker has completed 30 years’ service in the New Zealand Army in 2013. In 2005 and 2007 he published two books, entitled ‘Echoes of Gallipoli’ and ‘Devils on Horses’, about the experiences of New Zealand’s mounted riflemen during the First World War. The second book was selected as a finalist in the 2008 Montana New Zealand Book Awards. Currently employed in the NZDF as a civilian, Mr Kinloch is writing a biography of Lieutenant General Sir Alexander Godley and this will be the subject of his presentation. All members and their guests are welcome to attend and do not.
