With Guest Speaker Willow Sainsbury
Willow Sainsbury teaches Art and Art History at Wellington East Girls' College. She graduated from Princeton University in Art, Archaeology and Fine Arts, then studied at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar in Anthropology. Willow currently interviews applicants for Princeton University and she is Secretary of the New Zealand Rhodes Association. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is completing her training as an Educational Psychologist (Sainsbury describes her career as less of a linear trajectory, as a hexagonal). After a long period in the USA and the UK she returned to Dunedin in 2012 to fulfill her dream of contributing to New Zealand. She taught Classical Studies for three years in Dunedin before relocating to Wellington with her husband, Reuben, and two daughters, Bay and Wyn. Willow will be discussing Imposter Syndrome and her experiences while studying at Princeton and Oxford.
